LINEN CHEST DISTRIBUTION CENTER- LAVAL
June 7th 2019 – The construction of the future Linen Chest MEGA distribution center was entrusted to Le Groupe CIBS by Groupe Mach. The warehouse will be provided with a LED lighting system to minimise energy costs. Storage space is maximized in height (40’) and width and includes a guidance system embedded in the floor allowing for narrower aisles and increasing storage capacity. Due to the different types of merchandise and their components, the fire protection system represents a challenging aspect of the project. 26 loading dock doors will be available for the receiving/shipping department. A large area of the parking lot is made of roller-compacted concrete (RCC) ensuring durability of the parking and circulation area. The building is located on Montée St-François in Laval.
