Expansion of Lucille-Teasdale international school
Brossard, The Marie-Victorin School Service Centre has awarded a construction contract to Le Groupe CIBS for the expansion of Lucille-Teasdale International School, to accommodate 435 additional students. This project includes the construction of 11 new classrooms, two studios dedicated to performing arts with eight music practice booths, as well as a performance area for presentations. Four laboratories promoting innovation in science and creativity will also be added.
One of the main transformations of this project involves the current swimming pool, which will be completely renovated to become a multipurpose sports facility. The extension will also include modern and inspiring collaborative spaces spread over two floors, designed to foster creativity and exchange among students.
Outdoors, plans include the creation of an open-air classroom and a sports training area. The parking lot and drop-off zone will be completely redesigned, and a covered waiting area for students, as well as bicycle shelters, will be installed.
