Construction begins on the Pie-X park redevelopment in Laval
The transformation of Pie-X Park, located in the Chomedey district, is now officially underway. This major project, representing an investment of nearly $23 million, includes the construction of a new multifunctional pavilion, a modern pool with a wading area and water features, as well as a refrigerated and covered skating rink. The redevelopment also provides for an inclusive playground, a teen zone designed in collaboration with more than 150 local youth, a synthetic-turf soccer field, and new illuminated universal pathways. The entire site will also benefit from upgraded urban furniture and an enhanced tree canopy, transforming Pie-X Park into a modern, safe, and welcoming space for the entire community.
