Brossard, école du Quartier
The CIBS group has won the tender for the construction of a primary school on Châteauneuf Street and Quartier Boulevard. The beginning of the school construction is scheduled for January 2024, and the work is expected to span approximately 18 months. The opening of the new school, which will consist of four kindergarten classrooms for 4-year-olds, four kindergarten classrooms for 5-year-olds, eight classrooms for primary school, and 24 classrooms in total, is planned for the 2025-2026 school year.
The project will also include a double gymnasium, an art room, a music room, a teaching kitchen, a multipurpose room with a stage area, and collaborative spaces. Additionally, the exterior will feature a dynamic facade with random windows creating a sense of liveliness.
The schoolyard will offer numerous facilities, and a small public square will mark the entrance to the school. Vegetation will also play a significant role, enhancing the visual appeal of the building.
